First responders on scene of motor vehicle crash on Veterans Pkwy. at River Rd. in Columbus
Multiple first responder units are working an early Sunday, September 4, 2022, morning motor vehicle collision in Columbus.
The crash occurred at the busy intersection of Veterans Parkway and River Road. Columbus Department of Fire and EMS and Columbus Police Department units are on the scene. Injuries were reported, along with multiple vehicles being involved. One of the vehicles was split in half by a pole, pictures show.

One person was seen being cuffed and placed into the back of a patrol vehicle. Crime scene tape has been put up at the crash site. Traffic delays are being reported near the site. Please avoid the area.
