Lee County teen injured after shots fired into County Road 422 home
A Lee County teen is receiving treatment after being shot late Sunday night in Beauregard.
Lee County Sheriff Jay Jones told CNAW2NEWS.com that several rounds of gunfire were fired into a home on Lee County Road 422.
A 17-year-old old sustained a gunshot wound to his body and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The teenager is expected to recover.
The incident remains under investigation by Lee County investigators.
