19-year-old dead, another person injured in Delray Drive shooting
A 19-year-old is dead and another person is injured Sunday afternoon in Columbus.
Authorities responded to the scene on Delray Drive where they found two people shot on October 23, 2022. The two people were transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional.
As detectives began investigating, one of the victims, identified as 19-year-old Marqueyvius Dozier, was pronounced deceased at the emergency room of Piedmont at 4:58 P.M. An autopsy is scheduled and the family has been notified.
This is the second homicide this weekend and the 37th homicide this year.
