Pedestrian struck, killed by semi-trailer truck on I-85 in Troup County
A deadly scene is under investigation by Troup County authorities after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in the evening hours of Sunday, November 20, 2022.
The scene occurred on Interstate 85, just north of LaGrange. Law enforcement scanner reports a welfare check was called in for a pedestrian reportedly walking on the interstate. Shortly thereafter, the pedestrian was struck by a semi-trailer truck.
Troup County Coroner Erin Hackley was dispatched to the scene and pronounced the pedestrian deceased. The pedestrian was identified as Travaris Clary, 30, of Monticello, Arkansas.
