Woman arrested for shooting man at River Road Piggly Wiggly parking lot in Columbus
A woman has been jailed for the shooting of a man in the parking lot of the River Road Piggly Wiggly on Friday afternoon in Columbus.
The man was shot in the chest/neck area and according to several family members and sources, the man, identified as Shannon Hilderbrand, is on a ventilator at St. Francis Hospital.
Witnesses at the hospital saw the woman, who is identified as Alena Adams, get arrested by officers after dropping the man off at the hospital in a private vehicle. Adams, who will go to bond hearing on Monday, is charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
