Lee County officials on scene of serious Hwy. 280 accident
Lee County first responders and law enforcement officials are on the scene of an accident with injuries Sunday afternoon.
The accident is taking place on U.S. Highway 280 at Lee Road 248 (Summerville Road) near Love’s Truck Stop.
At least two people were seen receiving medical treatment. All eastbound lanes are blocked. Lee County Sheriff’s Office, EAMC ETS, and Smiths Station Fire and Rescue remain on the scene.
