One man dead after shooting on Ewart Avenue in Columbus
Columbus police officials are investigating an early morning deadly shooting in the city.
The shooting occurred at 909 Ewart Avenue, which is near Buena Vista Road.
Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan confirms 63-year-old Wiley Jackson was pronounced deceased at 4:45 A.M.
An autopsy is scheduled and the family has been notified. This is the second homicide this week, and the fifth homicide so far this year.
