Woman dies in Manchester Expressway crash on Saturday in Columbus
A motor vehicle crash incident is under investigation by the Motor Squad unit of Columbus Police.
A 20-year-old female, identified as Jaimie Welch, was pronounced deceased at 12:19 P.M. by Muscogee County Chief Deputy Coroner Elizabeth Allison after a crash on Manchester Expressway at the Warm Springs connector. Welch suffered multiple blunt force trauma Injuries.
Welch’s family has been notified and the investigation is underway.
