Death investigation underway on 5th Avenue in Columbus
Muscogee County officials are working a death investigation Sunday afternoon.
The investigation is taking place at 1633 Fifth Avenue, at 17th Street, Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan said. Muscogee County Sheriff’s deputies are working the crime scene.
Muscogee County Sheriff Greg Countryman tells CNAW, the body was found adjacent to the Metropolitan Church on 5th Avenue and they are currently communicating with Columbus PD right now.
