Civic Center announces initiative to combat teen violence
The Columbus Civic Center has announced a new initiative and event to combat teen violence.
The Civic Center’s Interim Director Kanise Wiggins announced the title of the initiative as I Love Columbus, Together We’re Better.
“The initiative is an effort to combat teen violence during the Summer Months,” Wiggins said. “we are encouraging teens to participate in various events in collaboration with organizations throughout the city of Columbus.”
The kickoff for the initiative is June 7, 2025, at 11 A.M., in front of the bricks at the Columbus Civic Center.
