Hogansville Police investigating home invasion on Greenough Street
The Hogansville Police Department is investigating a possible home invasion that occurred around 10:15 p.m. on Monday, June 9, 2025, in the 300 block of Greenough Street. Responding officers found a victim with injuries who reported that an unknown amount of cash had been stolen.
Despite efforts by investigators, patrol officers, and a K-9 unit from the Meriwether County Sheriff’s Office, suspect tracking was unsuccessful due to poor weather conditions.
Police are asking residents in the area to review any home surveillance footage from 10:00 to 11:00 p.m. for suspicious activity. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Hogansville Police Department at (706) 637-6648 or email Lt. Marcus Rakestraw at [email protected].
The investigation remains active as authorities continue to follow up on all leads.
