Piedmont Columbus cooperating with authorities after incident, hospital says
An incident Tuesday afternoon at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Campus is under investigation by Columbus police.
Multiple sources suggest that a person jumped from the 10th floor to the 5th floor and is now receiving medical treatment. Columbus police officers were dispatched to the hospital.
Piedmont Columbus Regional said they are currently cooperating with authorities and have no further comment due to patient privacy laws. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
