Wife arrested after husband passes away weeks after Troup County shooting incident
Charges against a Troup County woman have been upgraded after the woman’s husband passed away from his injuries.
The incident occurred on August 11, 2025, at 196 Chipley Mountville Road, when Dawendall White was found shot and critically injured. White was pronounced deceased on September 2nd.
White’s wife, Tracy Lynn White, was arrested in Lee County in August and charged with aggravated assault. White is now charged with murder in connection to her husband’s death.
The Criminal Investigations Division remains investigating the murder.
