Human remains found underneath bridge in West Point
The West Point Police Department have begun an investigation after human remains were discovered Thursday night.
The remains were located underneath the Chattahoochee River Bridge on Interstate 85 around 7:30 P.M. on September 4, 2025.
“The Harris County Coroner’s Office was contacted along with the Georgia Bureau of Investigations to assist in processing the scene,”authorities said.
The individual remains have been sent out for DNA testing for identification purposes.
