51 arrested, 130 charges filed in months-long Chambers County drug investigation
Chambers County officials have arrested 51 people following a three month drug task force investigation.
The investigation which involved Chambers County Drug Task Force, Multi-Jurisdictional SWAT Team, Chambers County Sheriff’s Office, Valley Police Department, LaFayette Police Department, and Lanett Police Department between July 1 through September 30th of this year.
The arrests and charges are listed below:
Christopher Austin Smith 28 of Lanett – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Reginald Franklin Brownll 47 of Wadley – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) – Possession of Marijuana 1st and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Keduard Ulacia Gonzalez 24 of Lanett – Possession of a Marijuana 2nd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Victor Hadaway 74 of Wadley – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) – Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Walter Scroggins 48 of Valley – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Synthetics) and Possession of Marijuana 1st.
Michael Shelnutt 60 of Hoover – Trafficking in Methamphetamine – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Synthetics) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Cynthia Jarvis 34 of Opelika – Trafficking in Methamphetamine – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Synthetics) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Madison Coker 23 of Valley – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled (Meth) – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Synthetics) Four Counts – Possession of Marijuana 1st and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Joshua Sharpe 19 of Valley – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine Powder) and Possession of Marijuana 2nd.
John Allen Patterson 66 of Valley – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Crack Cocaine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
William Herbert Fox 55 of Valley – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth).
Jesse Alexander 34 of Five Points – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Synthetics) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Rodney Lydell Compton 59 of Valley – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine Powder) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Nathan Scott Gordy 25 of West Point, GA – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Pills) Two Counts and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Jamarco Trammell 33 of Lanett – Trafficking in Fentanyl – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with intent to Distribute (Crack Cocaine) – Possession of Marijuana 1st and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Larry Jerome Teel 47 of Lafayette – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth).
