Family asking for donations after CSU lecturer killed in apparent accidental shooting
An Indiana family of a lecturer, who was killed in an apparent accidental shooting, is asking for donations to go toward her funeral.
31-year-old Erica Anderson was shot and killed after her roommate believed Anderson was an intruder at their home along 17th Avenue in the Lakebottom neighborhood of Columbus Monday morning.
Her family is now asking for donations to fund her funeral.
Her family said they are “asking for your support to help ease some of the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time.”
The donations will go toward her funeral arrangements and helping the family with expenses.
Erica leaves behind her husband, Andy, and their three children — Jade, Noah, and Sky — all in Indianapolis. Andy is currently undergoing cancer treatments, which makes this loss even more devastating for their family, the GoFundMe said.
The investigation into the apparent accidental shooting remains ongoing by the Columbus Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit.
