Auburn man arrested after child sexual abuse material recovered
An Auburn man is now in jail after police recovered child sexual abuse material.
The investigation began when police received information that an Auburn resident was possibly in possession of images of child pornography.
Further investigation developed 38-year-old Brian Russell Lilly as a suspect.
“During the investigation, pornographic images were recovered and confirmed to be those of juveniles not from the Auburn area,” police said.
The Auburn Police Department arrested Lilly on October 30, 2025, on seven felony warrants charging him with possession of child sexual abuse material.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, and more charges are possible.
Lilly was transported to the Lee County Jail and held on a $70,000 bond.
