U.S. 431 shut down in south Russell County
Russell County first responders are on scene of a serious motor vehicle accident.
The two-vehicle crash occurred on U.S. Highway 431 at Alabama Highway 26 in south Russell County.
All lanes are blocked. We are told Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is also responding to the scene. It is unclear if any injuries were reported in the crash.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area while officials work the scene.
