Lane on I-85 South reopened following Macon County crash
UPDATE: Roadway open.
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says a crash has occurred in Macon County causing a lane closure.
The two-vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2026.
The left southbound lane of Interstate 85 near the 41 mile marker in Macon County is currently blocked and will be for an undetermined amount of time.
Expect major traffic delays if in the area.
