A large police presence is underway in Troup County following a chase.

Opelika police confirmed their agency was involved in a high speed pursuit that stemmed from a domestic dispute and welfare check. CNAW2News.com confirmed the chase traveled northbound on Interstate 85.
An active law enforcement presence from Troup County Sheriff’s Office and Georgia State Patrol is underway on Hamilton Road at Interstate 85. Crime scene tape is cordoning off the scene. Troup County fire personnel are also on scene.
