Russell County first responders on scene of crash Monday night
Russell County first responders are on scene of a motor vehicle collision.
The crash occurred in the area of 678 Cottonton Road around 11:32 P.M. central standard time on Monday, January 12, 2026. The scene is located in the Pittsview community of the county.
We are told the crash involves only one vehicle and is near the bridge in that area of Cottonton Road.
Both lanes are blocked while officials work the scene. Drivers are asked to avoid the area, if possible.
