Fire departments extinguish overnight structure fire in Ladonia
Firefighters extinguished an overnight structure fire.
The fire occurred on Woodland Drive, just north of Strickland Road, in the Ladonia community of Russell County. The fire happened around 4 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026.
Ladonia, Crawford, and Uchee Creek volunteer fire departments, along with Phenix City Police Department and CARE Ambulance responded to the scene.
It appears a large part of the home was extensively damaged in the fire. No injuries were reported in the blaze.
