Troup County chase ends in crash Sunday night
A Troup County chase ended in a crash Sunday night.
The Georgia State Patrol says a 2024 Honda Accord fleeing from a Troup County sheriff’s deputy crashed into a concrete culvert before overturning multiple times on Lukken Industrial Boulevard at Orchard Hill Road.
Troopers were called to the scene around 10:37 p.m. on Feb. 1 and began investigating.
The driver of the Honda, Jarvarus Nellon, 27 of LaGrange, was taken to a local hospital and was released to the jail with minor injuries. The passenger was life-flighted to Piedmont in Columbus with serious injuries.
The GSP Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team (SCRT-D) is also investigating this crash.
