Man arrested on child sexual abuse material in Auburn
An Auburn man has bonded out after being charged with possession of child pornography.

Lee County jail records confirm 28-year-old Montrell Jhamal Dowdell was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, and booked into the jail on eight counts of possession of child pornography.
Dowdell was given a $80,000 bond and has since posted bail.
CNAW2News.com confirmed Auburn police is the agency conducting the investigation. Auburn police has not released a press release regarding the arrest, at this time.
