Assault at West Point massage center leads to discovery of evidence of prostitution
A woman was arrested following an assault at a local massage parlor which led to the discovery of evidence indicating prostitution.
West Point Police responded to Aroma Sauna, located at 308 West 8th Street, around 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, after a man reported being assaulted inside the business. The man told officers he went to the location for a massage due to an injury he had suffered the day before.
According to the report, the man said he was initially met by an older woman who directed him to a room where another woman would meet him. While waiting, a younger woman entered and told him the massage would cost $80, with an additional $200 for other services. The man stated he became uncomfortable and attempted to leave the business.
As he tried to exit, the man alleged that the younger woman was joined by the older woman and another younger woman. He reported that the three women grabbed and assaulted him while attempting to take his wallet and a video recording device from his pocket. During the incident, the man said his necklace was broken, but he was able to activate his recording device and capture part of the encounter before escaping through the front door and calling 911.
Investigators identified the older woman as Moo Sun Lee, who told officers she was the manager of the business and denied the assault allegations. She stated the two younger women had left through the back door. Police detained Lee while obtaining a search warrant and secured the business.
Two younger women later came to the police department voluntarily and provided detailed statements describing how the business operated, including pricing and services offered. Investigators said both women identified Lee, who isreferred to as “Mama”, as the manager who controlled the operation and received a portion of the money from services performed.
A search warrant was executed at the business, where officers collected evidence including cellular phones, phone numbers, and photographs of sexual devices, including dildos, anal plugs, and strap on dildos, and lubricants. All items were documented before being seized.
Lee was arrested and charged with trafficking of persons for labor or sexual servitude, keeping a place of prostitution, pimping, simple battery, obstruction of an officer, and giving massages in a place used for lewdness or prostitution. The investigation remains ongoing.
