Two serious crashes reported on HWY. 280 in Opelika, Phenix City
First responders in Opelika and Phenix City are working on two serious motor vehicle crashes.

The first crash occurred on U.S. Highway 280/Columbus Parkway entering into Opelika’s city limits.
At least two crashes were reported in that area. Injuries have been reported. EAMC EMS, Opelika Fire Department, and Opelika Police Department vehicles are on scene. All lanes are blocked in the area.

The second crash occurred on U.S. Highway 280/431 at Price Road in Phenix City. At least one vehicle was reported to have serious damage.
CARE Ambulance, Phenix City Fire-Rescue, and Phenix City Police Department are on scene, and at least one westbound lane is blocked.
Please avoid the areas until further notice.
