Pedestrian struck, killed by vehicle on Miller Rd. in Columbus
Columbus police are investigating a deadly pedestrian-involved crash.
The incident happened around 3 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026, on Miller Road near Pittman Street.
Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan says the pedestrian, identified as 42-year-old Brent Hart, was pronounced deceased.
Hart will be sent for an autopsy at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. An active investigation is underway by the police department’s Motor Squad.
