Log truck overturned at Crawford intersection
First responders are on the scene of a log truck crash in the Crawford community of Russell County.
The crash, which involved a log truck overturning, occurred on Alabama Highway 169 just south of the intersection with U.S. Highway 80. The crash was reported around 8:15 a.m. eastern time on Monday, March 2, 2026.
Officials with the Crawford Volunteer Fire Department, the Russell County Sheriff’s Office and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency are on the scene.
All lanes are blocked, and drivers should use an alternate route. Expect delays if in the area.
