Lynch Rd. in Midland blocked following crash
Columbus first responders are on the scene of a crash Wednesday morning.
The crash was reported on Lynch Road between the new Columbus Fire and EMS Station 5 and the Bull Creek Golf Course.
Significant traffic congestion has been reported in the area, which is also affecting nearby Mathews Elementary School.
It is unclear if anyone was injured. Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible.
A recommended route for drivers attempting to drop off children at Mathews Elementary School: turn left onto Calumet Drive, turn right onto Yellow Pine Drive, turn left onto Yarbrough Road, turn right onto Garrett Road, turn left on Jackson Road and you will follow Jackson Road until you reach the elementary school.
