Teenager arrested in Columbus in connection to LaGrange murder
A teenager is facing several charges in connection to a LaGrange murder.
16-year-old, identified as Tray Holt, was arrested by the Columbus Police Department. LaGrange investigators say officials notified them around 6 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026.
Holt was wanted on charges of felony murder and conspiracy to commit armed robbery in connection to the deadly shooting of Marshawn Bailey on February 3, 2026, at Tall Pines Apartment Complex on Turner Street.
Holt is being charged as an adult. “However, due to his age, he will be housed at a Youth Detention Facility,” investigators said.
Holt is the second suspect to be arrested. Detectives arrested Tavarion Henry, 16, on Feb. 3 with the same charges.
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact Detective K. Scott at 706-883-2620.
