NFL running back Tank Bigsby cited in local dirt bike complaint
An NFL player was cited Friday afternoon following a complaint involving a dirt bike in LaGrange, according to an incident report.
Officers responded around 4 p.m. on April 11 to the Sarah Lane area after a resident reported someone riding a dirt bike onto his property. The complainant told officers he had video showing the rider traveling on the roadway before crossing onto the lawn. No damage to the property was reported.
According to the report, the rider was eventually identified as Tank Bigsby, whose legal name is Cartavious Tyrone Bigsby.
Officers then made contact with Bigsby at a nearby residence, where the dirt bike was reportedly located inside the garage.
Bigsby was issued citations for no minimum insurance, riding without a helmet, and operating an off-road vehicle on a roadway. He was cited and released at the scene.
No arrests were made. The case is pending prosecution in LaGrange Municipal Court, according to police.
