Man arrested for stealing nearly $80K from Pioneer Little League, investigators say
A months-long investigation into fraudulent transactions involving Pioneer Little League has led to the arrest of a 35-year-old man, according to authorities.
The Columbus Police Department Property Crimes Unit identified Craig Norris as a suspect following a report in March 2026 of unauthorized use of the league’s bank card.
Detectives say their investigation uncovered a total of 1,039 fraudulent transactions made across multiple businesses, totaling $79,609.80.
Norris was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Muscogee County Jail.
He is charged with Theft by Taking (Felony) and Financial Transaction Card Fraud.
The investigation remains ongoing.
