Columbus Police Fugitive Unit reports 45 arrests during April 2026 operations
The Columbus Police Department Fugitive Unit reported 45 arrests during April 2026 as officers continued warrant enforcement operations throughout the city and surrounding areas.
According to police, the arrests were made during routine efforts to locate and apprehend individuals with active warrants. Charges ranged from aggravated assault and armed robbery to burglary, probation violations and fugitive warrants from multiple jurisdictions.
The following individuals were arrested during April operations:

Marlovon Powell — Aggravated Assault (Felony).
Maniyah Averett — Theft by Taking Motor Vehicle (Felony), Theft by Taking (Misdemeanor).
Jatavion Tatum — Robbery by Snatching (Felony).
Lisa Taska — Theft by Taking (Felony).
Bradley Motley — Aggravated Assault (Felony), Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of Certain Felonies (Felony), Battery Family Violence (Misdemeanor).
Christopher Murphy — Aggravated Assault (Felony).
Tanner Kennedy — Terroristic Threats x2 (Felony), Cruelty to Children 3rd Degree x2 (Misdemeanor).
Zaymere Jones — Aggravated Assault x3 (Felony), Drive-by Shooting (Felony), Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime (Felony).
Terrance Bell — Fleeing or Attempting to Elude x2 (Felony), Expired Registration, Obstruction of Law Enforcement (Misdemeanor), Improper Passing, Driving While License Suspended, Hit and Run.
Caiden White — Drive-by Shooting (Felony), Criminal Attempt to Commit a Felony (Felony), Aggravated Assault (Felony).
Jonathan Jenkins — Theft of Automobile (Felony), Theft by Deception (Misdemeanor).
Jarvis Bell — Burglary 1st Degree (Felony).

Police noted that identifying information for juvenile offenders was withheld in accordance with applicable legal protections.
The Fugitive Unit said it will continue focusing on locating and apprehending individuals with active warrants as part of ongoing enforcement responsibilities throughout the Columbus area.
