Four detained as Muscogee County deputies execute warrants at Columbus home
Deputies and investigators executed search and arrest warrants at a north Columbus home on Wednesday.
The warrants were carried out around noon on June 3, 2026, at a residence in the 600 block of 44th Street near Seventh Avenue, in a neighborhood off Manchester Expressway.
The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office executed the warrants using two BearCats, a tactical medic truck staffed by EMT-certified investigators, as well as personnel from the Special Operations Unit and the Collaborative Intelligence Group.
“We’ve received several complaints regarding drug activity in this neighborhood as well,” Sheriff Greg Countryman said.
At least four people — one woman and three men — were seen being detained and placed into the back of a BearCat. Their identities have not been released, and it is unclear what charges, if any, they may face.
