Heavy police presence reported on Curtis Street in Columbus
A heavy police presence has been reported in Columbus.
The presence is taking place in the 1100 block of Curtis Street between Peabody and Waverly avenues. CNAW2News began receiving word of an incident – potentially a shooting – around 12:15 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.
Crime scene tape has cordoned off the roadway until further notice as police investigate.
CNAW2News is working to confirm if anyone was injured.
