Sylacauga man killed in Friday night crash, Lee Co. coroner confirms
A Sylacauga man has died following a Friday night crash in west Lee County.
Lee County Coroner Daniel Sexton confirmed 43-year-old Jimmy Salters was pronounced dead on scene around 7:06 p.m. central time on Friday, Sept. 25, 2026.
The crash occurred in the 11000 block of Lee Road 188.
Officials with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Farmville Volunteer Fire Department, EAMC Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating the crash.
