TRAFFIC ALERT: First responders working reported fire at home at on Lee Road 240
Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Smiths Station Fire and Rescue and Salem Volunteer Fire Department are on scene of a reported fire at a home in Phenix City area of Lee County.
The fire is taking place in the 11000 block of Lee Road 240 near Lee Road 222 around 1:39 p.m. central time on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026.
Light smoke was seen coming from the roof of the home. The eastbound lane of Lee Road 240 remains closed.
