Structure fire extinguished Monday afternoon south of Camp Hill community
A structure fire broke out in Tallapoosa County Monday afternoon.
The fire was reported around 6:21 p.m. eastern time on Monday, Oct. 19, 2026, in the 28400 block of U.S. Highway 280 East near Heard Road.
Multiple fire departments responded to the scene. Heavy smoke and flames could be seen billowing from the home.
No injuries were reported.
