Pedestrian killed in crash on GA-520 in Chattahoochee County
A pedestrian was killed Sunday evening after being struck by a vehicle on GA-520 in Chattahoochee County, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
GSP said the crash happened around 7:45 p.m. on October 25, 2026, between mile markers 8 and 9.
According to investigators, a vehicle was traveling southbound in the outside lane of GA-520 when a pedestrian attempted to cross the highway from the east side. The vehicle struck the pedestrian with its right front.
The pedestrian succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
The Georgia State Patrol has not released the pedestrian’s identity or additional details about the crash.
