Human bones found along Columbus Riverwalk near The Bibb Mill
Columbus detectives have been on the scene of a death investigation for two days near the Riverwalk.
CNAW2NEWS.com became aware of a heavy police presence from Columbus police and Muscogee County Coroner’s Office after viewers reported seeing the presence. We understand a skull was found several months ago on a bench at Lamppost 33 on the Riverwalk, which is north of The Bibb Mill and near Linden Point. More human bones were found last night and today, we were told.
The identity of the remains, as well as the manner and cause of death, is unclear. This is a developing story
