Monday night crash on I-185 SB ramp leaves one man dead
A Monday night motor vehicle collision has left one man dead, authorities say.
Columbus police officers and firefighters responded to the single-vehicle crash on I-185 southbound ramp at Manchester Expressway shortly after 8 P.M. on Monday, June 26, 2023. Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan, as well as crime scene and motor squad investigators, were summoned to the scene.
Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan says the victim, later identified as 42-year-old Christopher Rulon, was pronounced dead at 8:55 P.M. Rulon’s body will be sent to GBI in Atlanta for an autopsy.
Motor Squad investigators are investigating the crash.
