Pedestrian struck by vehicle on August 13th in LaGrange dies, coroner confirms
A LaGrange man who was walking on a road when he was struck by a vehicle, has died days after the incident
Authorities say the pedestrian versus vehicle collision took place during the evening hours of August 13, 2023 on New Airport Road
Troup County Coroner Erin Hackley identified the pedestrian as 55-year-old Wayon Brown. He was pronounced deceased at 12:12 PM on August 17, 2023 at Kennestone hospital in Atlanta.
Georgia State Patrol is investigating.
