LaGrange teen killed in interstate crash involving moped overnight
Georgia State Patrol is investigating a fatal collision involving an 18-wheeler and a moped.
The collision occurred on Interstate 85 southbound at mile marker 22 on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. Troup County Coroner Erin Hackley says 18-year-old Romelius Fannin of LaGrange was pronounced dead on scene.
The state patrol remains investigating the crash.
