Phenix City woman dead in overnight fiery crash on Shug Jordan Pkwy. in Auburn
A Phenix City woman has died after an overnight fiery crash.
“The single motor vehicle accident with post-crash fire occurred on Shug Jordan Parkway in Auburn at around midnight CDT on Wednesday, September 20, 2023,” Lee County Coroner Daniel Sexton said. Sexton identified the decedent as 35-year-old Amber Cole.
Cole has been sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science in Montgomery for a postmortem exam.
Officials remain investigating this crash.
