Man shot and killed at Post Ridge Apartments in Phenix City early Sunday morning
A homicide investigation is underway after a shooting early Sunday morning in Phenix City.
The shooting occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Post Ridge Apartments on 16th Avenue North.
Russell County Coroner Arthur Sumbry Jr. said the victim, who is a male in his 20’s, was shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead on scene at 5:20 this morning. His name is being withheld until next of kin can be notified.
