Body found on Magnolia Ave. identified as 14-year-old boy; homicide investigation ongoing
A 14-year-old boy was identified as a body found in Columbus on Monday morning.
The body was found on Monday, October 30, 2023, behind 1050 Adair Avenue on Magnolia Avenue, which is a dead end.
The body was identified as 14-year-old Casadarius McGhee, Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan confirmed. McGhee was pronounced dead on scene by Muscogee County Deputy Coroner Dustin Harrelson at 10:11 A.M. McGhee suffered from multiple gunshot wounds.
McGhee’s mother has been notified. Violent Crimes investigators are investigating the homicide.
