Columbus man shot, killed on Harvey Avenue; investigation ongoing
A homicide investigation is underway Wednesday night after a deadly shooting in the city of Columbus, blocks away from Piedmont Columbus Regional.
The shooting occurred in the 1500 block of Harvey Avenue on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.
Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan identified the victim as 36-year-old Michael Brown. Brown suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at 6:48 P.M.
This is the second homicide this month. An investigation remains ongoing by Violent Crimes Unit.
