Vehicle shows up to Opelika’s EAMC campus with shooting victim this morning
Opelika detectives are investigating after a shooting victim arrived to East Alabama Medical Center in a vehicle Friday morning, according to Opelika Police.
It all happened around 5 A.M. on Friday, November 24, 2023 when a vehicle showed up at the hospital with a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the foot.
The victim has since been released from the hospital. Investigators believe the incident occurred at a location off of Frederick Avenue.
Detectives remain investigating the shooting. This remains a developing story.
