Auburn man killed in Saturday morning crash on Macon County road
An Auburn man is dead after a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Macon County.
The crash occurred on Macon County Road 53 approximately eight miles north of Tuskegee at approximately 10:40 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2023.
33-year-old Robert B. Reynolds Jr. was fatally injured when the 2008 Honda Accord he was driving left the roadway, struck multiple mailboxes, and overturned.
“Reynolds was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the vehicle,” authorities say. Reynolds was pronounced deceased on scene.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
