Chase ends on Sandfort Road at Woodland Drive in Russell County
A several-minute chase has ended on Sandfort Road at Woodland Drive in Russell County. The chase was spotted on Highway 80 as well, before the end of the chase.
A large police presence including Russell County, Phenix City, Lee County, what appears to be an Alabama constable and several unmarked vehicles are on scene.
The chased vehicle appears to be a Ford explorer which crashed into the woods. Another vehicle, which was red, suffered minor damage. At least two CARE ambulances have been dispatched to the scene. No other details have been confirmed.
